Axe body wash on a dog?

Today my sister thought it would be cool to wash my dog with axe body wash. Now he smells good, but is it doing anyting to my dog?Axe body wash on a dog?
Your dog will be fine. pH balanced doesn't mean s*** on human or dog shampoo, it's a marketing thing. The only difference between human and dog shampoo is human is more expensive. Dogs actually have a more oily and waxy skin than humans so I wouldn't worry about drying and flaking skin.Axe body wash on a dog?
You should be careful using any human soap on dogs. Their skin is more sensitive than ours and gets dry easily. That's why they make shampoo and soap specially for pets. Using it once probably won't do much harm, I've washed my dog with my own shampoo in a pinch before. Just be careful not to do it often.
it may irritate his skin because I'm sure clearly on the bottle it says ';not to be tested on dogs';!!!!!!!!!! I would give him another bath in dog shampoo, something that has conditioners in it that will soothe his skin and don't let your sister give your dog any more baths!
body wash for humans can give dogs flakey skin or really bad skin problems. i suggest not doing this again and try contacting your vet if he begins to scratch a lot. this was not a wise choice and can really harm your dog :D
Axe is wayyy to strong for a dog. Get the right dog shampoo.

Ok...please don't let that happen again...now most likely he will have dry skin which is very itchy. Next time use a dog shampoo that contains oatmeal (its really gentle and good for the skin and fur)

if it wont hurt a human than im sure a dog can handle it...just dont make it a habbit!
it is bad because a lot of dogs would probably have an allergic reaction that would harm skin and hair.
