I am trying to be as green as possible and natural as possible and eliminate some toxins as well. I heard of Dr. Bronners 18-in-1 peppermint castle soap. Has anyone had any experience with it? the bottle is making me dizzy...I am supposed to dilute it correct?Anyone familiar with Dr. Bronners 18-in-1 body wash?
Dr. Bronner's is awesome! I use the Hemp Peppermint Liquid Castile Soap on my face and body every day. Even though it says to dilute the stuff, I like to use it full-strength. It gives you a really cool, tingly-fresh feeling! For things like cleaning around the house, I do dilute it, but not for my showers.Anyone familiar with Dr. Bronners 18-in-1 body wash?
Yeah I've heard of this stuff...I personally think that things that are like, 18-in-1 are not as good as the single thing :-)

Make sure that you're using a high quality laundry detergent. My personal preference is Gain. Gain detergent tends to be heavily scented and some of the fragrance stays with the clothes after they are washed. Another thing that might be causing the problem is overloading the washing machine. When you put the clothes in the washer, make sure thar they can move around freely so the entire load of laundry gets enough detergent and water to clean it. Some people add 1-2 cups of vinegar to the rinse but I don't. There's a very old and inexpensive product called 20 Mule Team Borax that is said to boost the cleaning by 40%. You might want to get some of that if your clothes tend to get stinky. Good luck.

Did you try using white vinegar in the wash? It's the best thing I know of for removing laundry odors. It's very inexpensive as well. I wash all our smelly stuff with it (dog bedding, my sons smelly socks etc.) Give it a shot.

When you wash your clothes add 1/2 cup of ammonia along with your regular laundry detergent. The ammonia will break up the protein in the clothing which in turn will get rid of the smell. Good Luck!!!

sorry, but I wouldn't use Dial;; I'm allergic to it myself, but:: it's probably the most drying soap of all of them out there;; it's good to use if you need to dry out a wound, or if your skin is excessively oily, but other than that I would not use it@ all...what I do know is the soap's attention to wounds;; I clearly encourage people to stay away from dial after the 1st 3 wks d/t it's excessive drying quality;; I also instruct them not to use gel soap cause we end up not truly rinsing it all off, causing too much dryness to the skin;; I also encourage them not to use antibacterial soap for too long either d/t it's drying qualities;; add this to the hard water, your skin will become very dry;; again, I instruct this for wounds after the 1st 3 wks; but if you have a tendency for dry skin, I would stay away from dial altogether;; good to keep skin @ a balance between moist %26amp; dry...hope this helps you in some way...Dial antibacterial eco-smart hand soap vs. dial antibacterial body wash?
I like Dial soaps, but although I don't think the hand soap has anything harmful in it (since, you know, the hands are part of the human body) I'm still not sure I would wash the rest of my body with it just because it is meant for scrubbing your hands, which are just tougher than the rest of you.

body wash is not good for your hair. if it happens once, no big deal, but if you do it all the time you could do some damage to your hair. if the body wash is a kind like dial, etc. (clearish soap) it will dry out your hair, and it will be really hard to get the moisture back in. on the other hand, if the body wash is like dove super moisturizing, etc (creamy soap, nearly opaque) it will leave your hair greasy. just grab some shampoo next time and you'll be fine.
Yeah, I accidentally put Dial body wash in my hair around a week ago. Nothing apparent happened. It must have been late at night because I thought it was the shampoo in my hand. I suck, I know.

Try Venus Breeze.. it worked really well for me. Don't use body wash for shaving, it can irritate skin! Use shaving cream instead, and be sure to moisturize afterwards.

1. I'll have to say spray tan. You can't really wash it off, but give it a week and make sure you exfoliate and it'll come of quicker and evenly too.





2. I would try Jergens body glow lotion. Purchase the mild one if you are already tan so that you don't make your tan darker just glow. Also I can't think of the make but there is an after the sun lotion (if you'll be in the sun) that moisturizes and helps the tan last longer... I think it may be Hawaiian tropic.
Rimmel Matte (not shimmer) is good but it rubs off on your clothes which is a pain in the a**! Cant help with no. 2

Neutrogena acne body wash?

I have horrible acne on my chest, shoulders, and back. I tried using the neutrogena acne body wash but I get a TERRIBLE rash on my armpits when I rinse. I cannot use deodrant for a week and have to wash with soap and apply cortisone to the areas until it heals.





Anyone know a way I can apply the body wash and rinse it without it touching my armpits it seems impossible because i have to use it on my shoulders (deltoids). Closing my arm pits tightly does not help.





Any other suggestions? I already use Proactiv for my face, I do not want to use it on my body because it will waste so fast considering how my entire chest and back has acne.





I already eat healthy btw and take fish oil and all the good stuff.

How about going to see the doc and getting on antibiotics to get the staph bacteria under control since you have such a severe case of acne? Go see your doc and get this treated.
Don't apply the wash directly on your body, use a rag or loofah. Lather it and avoid the armpit areas. It seems that you have a bad reaction to the acne wash anyways, I'd recommend using something else such as Accutane.

Most AXE body washes smell pretty good. By FAR my favorite scent is Axe Touch, it smells S0 divine im tempted to use it myself. And the scent really lasts a long time. Seriously it smells goood. There is another whose name i cannot think of by Axe, i just know its clear blue with red beads in it, smells great too. My brother gave my nephew a bath in it (men lol) and he smelled S0 good, my female friends that visited kept hugging and holding him LoL, and even though hes naturally inclined to be a ';dirty stinky little boy'; he smelled good and clean all that day!


Moral of the story is, AXE drives the ladies crazy...trust me, im a lady =]What body wash for guys smells the best?

Accidently used my dove body wash for shampoo - i grabed the wrong bottle ...lol i was tired?

No harm, no foul. Your hair will be fine. Soap is soap. The soap is a bit harsher than shampoo and may make your hair feel dryer, but this is not permentant. It isn't going to do any harm at all. :) Trust me on this. There was one time I didn't have any shampoo and had to use dish washing detergent on my hair! If that didn't hurt my hair, I don't think something as gentle as body wash would hurt yours. :)





In fact, to ease your mind even more, they make shower gels that can be used as both shampoo and body wash. :)

it won't! lol.. dove has lots of moisturizer so it could probably soften your hair as well. i sometimes use dove bar to clean my hair.

no ... you're hair will be fine ... i wouldn't make a habit out of it but it wont hurt if you just do it once ... the washes are pretty similar ... most have identical active ingredients

Yes! Johnson %26amp; Johnson soft wash. It has 1/3 baby lotion and a touch of baby oil. It is so super fantastic!

I agree with the Johnson %26amp; Johnson suggestion. Also when you take your showers consider using a washcloth alone everyother day without detergents or cleansers. Most products are deisgned to emulsify the dirt on your skin. so they will have some dying effect. If you rinse you body well you will be cleansed without the drying effect. Also consider tamping your skin dry as opposed to rubbing the water off. may help.
I am a body wash fanatic! I like anything from DOVE. You can also try SOFTSOAP. It contains milk and honey which is very soothing to dry skin and smells fantastic!

The only thing that works with body washes is a round net scrungie available in all stores. It holds the body wash and does the job. Wash cloths don't work with body washes nor does just using your hands. You can't get the lather. Scrungies are cheap and though they do fall apart after a while, they are easy and inexpensive to replace. They also dry nicely when you use a suction hook to hold them on your shower wall. I wash them occasionally on low and hang them back up to dry. They work great.How should i use my body wash?

It's a manly scent that isn't noticeable after the shower unless the person smelling you gets close...you should smell them in the store to find out with scent you like the best though! What is better then the new body washes? The old fashion bar of soap. I am alergic to almost every body wash. They cause small bumps or itchyness. I settle with a bar of dove soap. Also you should try going to an omish market. they sell great soap!

I'm allergic to the apricot scrub too, it breaks me out BAD. So maybe you and I have the same skin type. I buy all my bath and body products from a lady on Etsy who handmakes it all and most of it is all natural. You can buy it in TONS of different YUMMY smelling scents at a decent price.
